Meat loaf with an Asian taste. I normally double the batch and after mixing it up I will freeze in individual portions to be cooked in the crock pot as needed. My Small Crock pot will hold two coffee cups so each person can put their main dish and side dish in the crock pot, each in a separate cup, and put on low so that when they get home it is ready for them. Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef |
1/2 cup water chestnut, finely chopped |
1/3 cup plain breadcrumbs |
1/4 cup green onion, sliced |
1/4 cup milk |
1 egg |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1 garlic clove, minced |
1/2 cup barbecue sauce |
1/4 cup plum sauce |
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce |
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine all ingredients. 2. Place in Crock pot. 3. Cook on low 4 hours. 4. OR. 5. Freeze in individual portions. 6. After frozen Place each needed portion in Crock Pot. 7. Cook on low 4-6 hours . |
