This oatmeal is so easy! I make it right before I go to bed, and I turn the crock pot off as soon as I get up. Everyone in my house loves it! Found this in 'Fix it and Forget it.' I also have to add in reference to some of the reviews, our family likes it mushy. Ingredients:
2 cups milk |
2 tablespoons honey |
1 tablespoon butter |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 cup dry old fashioned oats |
1 cup chopped apple |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/2 cup raisins (optional) |
Directions:
1. Spray crock pot with Pam. 2. Add all of the ingredients, stir, and cover. 3. Cook on low for 5-6 hours. 4. Enjoy! |
