This is an easy, delicious way to use all of those apples you pick every fall! Cans and freezes very well. Ingredients:
10 apples, cored and chopped (about 10 medium) |
1 cup water |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Add enough apples to fill your crock pot. 2. Add the water and spices and stir briefly. 3. Cook on low overnight. 4. Mash and cook on high for an additional 1/2 hour. |
