This delicious and simple savory kugel is crispy and golden brown on top, soft in the center. It's easy and quick to make. Ingredients:
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 lb egg noodles |
4 eggs |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. Combine drained cooked noodles, eggs, 1/4 cup oil, and salt. 3. Put second 1/4 cup of oil in a 9 x 9 or 13 x 9 pan. 4. Place pan in hot oven for three minutes to heat up pan so noodles will be crispy. 5. Put noodle mixture in hot pan. 6. Cook 30 - 45 minutes until noodles are brown and crisp. Cut into squares and serve. |
