Ingredients:
6 squabs, split |
2 teaspoons salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
4 cups shortening |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle squabs with salt and pepper; dredge in flour 2. Heat shortening to 325°; add squabs, and fry 15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp, turning frequently. Drain well on paper towels before serving. |
