Crispy Fish Fry

One of the simplest dishes you could cook with fish is a nice, crispy fish fry.
Ingredients:
fish, sliced pieces - 500 gms
very fine rava or bread crumbs
turmeric powder - 1.5 tsp
red chilly powder - 3 tsp
coriander seeds powder - 1tsp
lime juice - 2 tsp
salt - 1tsp or as per taste
cooking oil
Directions:
1. Clean the fish and add some salt. Set aside for 10 mins. This enhances the taste.
2. Now wash for the second time.
3. In a bowl, mix the chilly powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and lime juice into thick paste.
4. Now coat the fish slices with this paste. Let it stand for 5-10 mins.
5. Take some rava or crumbs in a plate.
6. Dip the coated slices into the crumbs/rava forming another layer.
7. Dust the extra rava/crumbs off.
8. Heat some oil in a pan and fry these double-coated fish slices on both sides on a medium flame.
9. Add oil as required.
10. Serve with onion rings and lemon slices.
