A healthier alternative to french fries.
Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed drained and patted dry
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed, ground (toasted first)
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
kosher salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
2. In a bowl, toss chickpeas with oil, cumin, fennel, paprika, and cayenne; season with salt.
3. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet and roast, stirring halfway through cooking, until crispy, about 25 to 30 minutes.
