A healthier alternative to french fries. Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed drained and patted dry |
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil |
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed, ground (toasted first) |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
kosher salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. 2. In a bowl, toss chickpeas with oil, cumin, fennel, paprika, and cayenne; season with salt. 3. Transfer to a rimmed baking sheet and roast, stirring halfway through cooking, until crispy, about 25 to 30 minutes. |
