5-Ingredient Fix Contest Entry. The perfect side dish for almost any meal! These potatoes are crispy and cheesy and super easy to make. Ingredients:
1 (24 ounce) package simply potatoes traditional mashed potatoes |
1 1/2 cups sour cream |
1 1/2 cups french-fried onions |
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, sour cream and garlic powder. Mix well. 2. Spoon half of the potato mixture into a 2- quart baking dish. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese and 3/4 cup of french fried onions on top. Cover with the remaining potato mixture. 3. Bake for 25-30 mins until hot. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and french fried onions. Bake for 5 mins until the onions are golden brown and cheese is melted. |
