I make these quite frequently. There is no set recipe, I just made a couple one night because I had too little cereal to use for breakfast, yet, too much to toss it. So, I tried this, and it turned out to be awesome Ingredients:
ice cream, any flavor you like |
corn flakes |
cinnamon, approx. 1/2 - 1 teaspoon (this is to taste) |
chocolate syrup |
you can use chocolate morsels, butterscotch morsels, nuts, coconut flakes....on and on...... |
Directions:
1. Scoop 6 healthy balls of ice cream and work into balls. 2. I like them about 4-5 across. Work fast. Place in freezer 3. Take 3 cups of corn flakes and crush them in a baggie, till they are about the size of a dried bean. Sprinkle in cinnamon, mix 4. Take one ball at a time out and 5. roll each ball in crushed corn flakes with cinnamon. 6. Place back in freezer to reharden. Once they are hardened, I put them in a large zip-lock bag in the freezer 7. Remove and drizzle chocolate syrup over top. 8. OH MY GOODY! 9. Go nuts, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, coffee.....any flava ice cream totally changes the dessert. |
