Nice slaw for the holidays. Ingredients:
1/2 head red cabbage, shredded |
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced |
3 green onions, white and green parts sliced |
6 tablespoons olive oil |
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard |
1 (6 ounce) package craisins, sweetened dried cranberries |
Directions:
1. Mix together cabbage and red and green onions in large mixing bowl. 2. Whisk oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, cumin and mustard together in a small bowl. 3. Pour over cabbage mixture. 4. Add sweetened dried cranberries, mix thoroughly. 5. Marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour. |
