My mother used to make this.......we owned a boat when I was a kid, and EVERY time we went out on it, she made this with carrot and celery strips to scoop it up with. My moms been gone for almost 30 years, but every time I make this for my dad, he says.........I remember how your mom used to make this. It is delicious!!!!! The clams can be chopped or minced, depending on what you like. Save the clam broth from the cans to add in. I couldn't get this in on ingredients. I mix it all up with a potato masher......cooking time is actually chilling time. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced |
3 (6 1/2 ounce) cans minced clams |
4 tablespoons clam broth |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients well, adding broth as needed, until cream cheese is totally blended. 2. Chill. 3. Enjoy - OMG this is good stuff! |
