Cretons French Canadian Spread for Toasts |

A great meat spread for toasts or crackers. Ingredients:
1 lb ground lean pork |
1 cup dried bread, crushed |
1 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper |
1/4 teaspoon clove |
1/4 teaspoon savory |
1/4 teaspoon marjoram |
1 can evaporated milk |
1 bay leaf |
Directions:
1. Mix all together. 2. Bake covered 325* 1 1/2 hour. 3. Remove bay leaf. 4. Stir every 20 minutes or so. 5. Store in small containers. |
