Cretons French Canadian Spread for Toasts

A great meat spread for toasts or crackers.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground lean pork
1 cup dried bread, crushed
1 cup onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon clove
1/4 teaspoon savory
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1 can evaporated milk
1 bay leaf
Directions:
1. Mix all together.
2. Bake covered 325* 1 1/2 hour.
3. Remove bay leaf.
4. Stir every 20 minutes or so.
5. Store in small containers.
