This dessert is very quick to whip up and put together. The outcome is better than any dessert at a restaurant. Ingredients:
1 cup milk |
1/2 cup flour |
3 eggs |
1 tblsp margarine |
3 bananas |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 tblsp rum (more according to preference) |
ready whip |
powder sugar |
chocolate squares melted |
cherries (optional) |
Directions:
1. First prepare all ingredients out on counter. 2. Have your toppings ready, 3. Melt chocolate pieces in microwave. 4. In saute pan melt butter 5. meanwhile, chop bananas into chunky circles 6. put banans into pan with butter 7. stir and cover bananas with the butter 8. add the brown sugar and mix well on medium heat 9. add the rum and let bananas simmer on low heat. 10. cook for another 3 minutes and then turn off flame. 11. In bowl, mix Flour, Milk and Eggs. 12. Whisk till most of the lumps have dissolved. 13. Set 10 pan on medium heat. 14. Coat with non-stick spray. 15. Laddle about a 1/4 cup of mixture onto pan 16. swirl pan around until all bottom of pan is coated. 17. Turn over after a minute or so. 18. Cook other side a minute or two. 19. Look for brown spots on both sides for doneness. 20. Flip onto a plate, fill with the banana mixture. 21. Drizzle with melted chocolate. 22. Fold in half and then another half. 23. Top with whipped topping, powder sugar and 24. drizzle with the melted chocolate. 25. Cherry on top for grand finale!! 26. Note: the first crepe is always the worst, so don't give up. 27. I promise the second or third will start looking professional. |
