Creole w/ chicken and sausage

Ingredients:
2 bay leaves
28 ounce(s) chicken broth
1 cup(s) chopped celery
3 cup(s) chopped cooked chicken
2 teaspoon(s) chopped fresh parsley
2 clove(s) garlic
1 green bell pepper
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground red pepper
1 medium yellow onion
14.5 ounce(s) petite diced tomotoes
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1/2 pound(s) smoked sausage
1 cup(s) uncooked long-grain rice
Directions:
1. Prepare rice according to package directions substituting 2 cups of broth instead of water.
2. Saute sausage, onion, celery, green bell pepper, and garlic for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
3. Stir in chicken, diced tomatoes, parsley, salt, red pepper, bay leaves, and remaining broth.
4. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
5. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
6. Remove and discard bay leaves.
7. Serve over hot cooked rice.
