I haven't tried this recipe yet, but am posting it for future reference. Author Ann Rogers, Ocala, Florida. Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon basil, dried |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/8-1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
16 ounces pork loin chops, boneless |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1/2 cup onion, chopped |
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped |
1/4 cup celery, chopped |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced |
Directions:
1. In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients; rub over both sides of pork. 2. In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil over medium heat. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook 15-20 minutes longer or until meat is tender. |
