CREOLE CHICKEN WITH CHILI CREAM SAUCE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Garza Estate in Rowlett, Texas in 1988. Ingredients:
4 boneless chicken breast halves |
2 teaspoons creole seasoning |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 can cream of chicken soup |
1/2 cup water |
4 ounces chopped green chilies |
1 teaspoon lime juice |
1/4 cup sour cream |
hot cooked rice |
Directions:
1. Season chicken with seasoning then heat oil in skillet and cook chicken until browned. 2. Add soup, water, chilies and lime juice then heat to a boil and cook over low heat 5 minutes. 3. Stir in sour cream and heat through then serve over rice. |
