Ingredients:
2 cups water |
2 cups vinegar |
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup catsup |
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce |
1 large red onion, chopped |
6 stalks celery, chopped |
1 lemon, thinly sliced |
1 bay leaf |
2 tablespoons red pepper |
2 tablespoons celery seed |
1 tablespoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
2 drops hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a large Dutch oven, mixing well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Use sauce for barbecuing beef, pork, or chicken. |
