An easy recipe for creme fraiche that can be made at home if you cannot find it in stores. Use within one week. Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream |
1 tablespoon plain yogurt |
Directions:
1. In a clean jar with a lid, combine the cream and yogurt. Close the lid, and shake vigorously for 1 minute. Leave the jar out on the counter for about 1 day. It should thicken up. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 day before serving. |
