This is my mom's recipe. My kids love this one because it tastes like mint chocolate chip. It's so easy to put together. Ingredients:
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix |
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant pistachio pudding mix |
1/3 cup vegetable oil |
4 eggs |
1/2 cup creme de menthe liqueur |
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream |
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. 2. In a large bowl, stir together cake mix and pudding mix. Make a well in the center and pour in oil, eggs, liqueur and sour cream. Beat on low speed until blended. Scrape bowl, and beat 4 minutes on medium speed. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan. 3. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely. |
