Creme Brulee-ish Cheesecake Bars |

If you like creme brulee or caramel or toffee flavors, this one’s for you. It takes just a few minutes of prep, and, voila! Yummy for your tummy! Enjoy! Ingredients:
7 honey graham crackers, crushed |
2/3 cup granulated sugar, divided |
3 tablespoons butter, melted |
2 8-oz. packages cream cheese (neufchatel) |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 whole eggs |
1 egg yolk |
1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed |
1 tablespoon water |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and butter. Press evenly into bottom of 9” square baking pan. 3. Beat cream cheese, remaining granulated sugar and vanilla extract on medium speed until well blended. Add whole eggs, one at a time, and egg yolk; mix well. Pour over crust. 4. Bake for 30 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least three hours. 5. Preheat broiler. Mix brown sugar and water then spread over cheesecake. Broil one minute or until topping is hot and bubbly. Serve warm. Yumm! |
