Ingredients:
1 can(s) (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth |
2 can(s) (15-1/2 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained |
1 pound(s) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes |
1 tablespoon(s) canola oil |
1/4 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper |
2 4 oz. can(s) chopped green chiles |
1 teaspoon(s) dried oregano |
1-1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder |
1 teaspoon(s) ground cumin |
1/2 cup(s) heavy whipping cream |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 cup(s) sour cream |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, saute the chicken, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add the beans, broth, chilies and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. 2. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream, cream and serve. |
