Creamy White Chicken Chili |

This delicious recipe came from our school secretary. Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast, boneless skinless, cut into 1/2 inch pieces |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth |
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, chopped |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, saute chicken, onion and garlic in oil until chicken is no longer pink. 2. Add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings. 3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. 4. Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream, and cream. Serve immedately. |
