Creamy Vodka Sauce With Mushrooms & Peas |

This recipe is from Woman's Day magazine, February 2006. This sauce sounds wonderful! Ingredients:
1 cup onion, chopped |
4 slices bacon, chopped |
2 cups mushrooms, sliced |
1 (26 ounce) bottle creamy vodka pasta sauce |
1/2 cup frozen peas |
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. 2. Add onions and bacon. 3. Saute 3 minutes. 4. Add mushrooms; saute 3 minutes. 5. Add vodka pasta sauce and bring to a boil. 6. Stir in peas; simmer until peas, mushrooms, and onions are tender. 7. Serve over pasta or rice. |
