I like this recipe because it's quick and easy to prepare. There are minimal ingredients and it doesn't require any cream soup. I threw together what I had on hand one night for dinner and it turned out to be something everyone in my family of four would eat. That in itself is a miracle. Ingredients:
2 (6 ounce) cans tuna in water, drained |
5 -6 cups cooked elbow macaroni |
1 cup sour cream |
1 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup milk |
8 ounces colby cheese, shredded and divided in half |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine the first 5 ingredients. Add 1/2 of the cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Spread evenly into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before serving. |
