Simple recipe, cooking time is mostly allowing onions to cook. I love serving it on a bed of Baby Spinach, Crumbled (low-fat) Goat Cheese and sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons nonfat sour cream |
2 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons fat-free balkan style yogurt |
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar |
1 garlic clove |
2 tablespoons low-fat parmesan cheese |
1/2 teaspoon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon honey |
3 tablespoons hormel crumbled cooked bacon |
1 small onion, thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. The first step is to caramelize your onions. Once done, combine with the first seven ingredients and blend with a immersion blender of food processor. Quickly warm up your bacon in a pan right before serving and mix together. Tastes wonderful with a spinach salad & crumbled light goat cheese. |
