The first time I had this dip it was made by my fiance's mother. She gave me the recipe which I adapted and have since made it many times, to rave reviews. Incredibly quick and easy to put together but so delicious! Read more ! Ingredients:
1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes in oil, julienned |
8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup best foods mayonnaise |
10 dashes hot red jalapeno pepper sauce |
2 green onions/scallions, thinly sliced (white and green parts) |
Directions:
1. Puree the tomatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and red pepper sauce in a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Add the scallions and pulse twice. Chill for at least an hour to let flavors blend and serve at room temperature. Enjoy with breadsticks/bread, crudites, crackers, etc... |
