Crescent rolls are a wonderful way to create appitizers. Change the meat to chicken or ham. Ingredients:
1/3 cup whipped cream cheese |
1/2 tsp dill weed, divided |
1/4 tsp ginger |
1 tbsp chopped green onion |
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls |
3/4 cup chopped cooked shrimp. |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees 2. Mix cream cheese, 1/4 tsp dill and ginger. Stir in onion. Set aside. 3. Unroll crescent dough, separate int 8 triangle and cut each triangle in half to make 16. Stretch dough slightly and place triangel into a lightly greased standard size muffin pan so that the bottomf the muffin cup is covered and crescents are laying outside the cup. 4. Divide shrimp evenly into cups (about a heaping tbsp) 5. Top each cup with 1/2 tsp of cream cheese mixture. Loosely fold dough corners into the center and pinch corners together loosely and twist to seal tightly. 6. Sprinkle tops with remaining 1/4 tsp dill. 7. Bake, uncovered for 10 - 17 minutes or until crisp and golden. 8. Serve hot or cold. |
