Delicious and quick recipe for mushrooms. Ingredients:
1 pound mushrooms (any kind you like), sliced |
4 tbsp olive oil |
2 garlic cloves, chopped or sliced |
1/4 cup dry sherry wine |
1/2 cup light cream |
salt and pepper to taste |
fresh parsley, cilantro or another herb for garnish |
Directions:
1. Clean, peel and slice mushrooms (do not wash). 2. Heat oil in skillet on medium. Add garlic and cook until golden. 3. Add mushrooms, mix well and let cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. 4. Pour sherry over mushrooms, stir and let alcohol evaporate (about 2 minutes). 5. Add cream to mushrooms, mix. Boil for 1 minute on medium heat, stirring constantly. Salt and pepper to taste. 6. Arrange on a serving plate and garnish with herbs. |
