By Foodie: Rosemaryblue. So easy. Everything goes in the blender except the green onions.The addition of cream cheese makes these scrambled eggs creamy and delicious. I made this 3-9-08, very tasty. • 6 eggs |
• 1/2 cup milk |
• 1-3 ounce package cream cheese, cubed |
• 1/4 teaspoon salt |
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper |
• 1/3 cup chopped green onions |
• 3 tablespoons unsalted butter |
i cut everything in half as i made this for one person. |
i chopped up regular onion. |
Directions:
1. 1. Combine eggs, milk, cream cheese, salt, pepper in a blender 2. 2. Blend until frothy, 7-10 seconds 3. 3. Stir in onions 4. 4. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat 5. 5. Make sure that butter coats the pan 6. 6. Pour in egg mixture 7. 7. Cook without stirring until mixture starts to set 8. 8. Draw a spatula across bottom of pan to form large curds 9. 9. Continue until eggs are thickened, but still moist 10. 10. Do not stir constantly 11. 11. Serve immediately 12. 12. Great with bacon, sausage, or ham |
