CREAMY SCALLOPED CARROTS IN THE CROCK POT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Miller Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1987.
Ingredients:
3 cups thinly sliced carrots
3 tablespoons butter
2 cups water
3 tablespoons orange marmalade
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
Directions:
1. Combine carrots, water and salt in crock pot then cover and cook on high 3 hours.
2. Drain well then stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes.
