Creamy Sausage Potato Soup |

A creamy Sausage soup with veggies. Makes you say Mmmmmm. Ingredients:
1 lb pork sausage |
1 med onion |
1/2 cup celery |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 tsp sage |
1 tbs garlic |
1/4 cup mushrooms |
7 cups potato |
3 cups carrots |
16 oz cream |
64 oz 2% milk |
2 tbs salt |
Directions:
1. Brown Sausage into crumbles add onion, celery, mushrooms, sage, and garlic and simmer until onions are nicely sauted. 2. Cube and boil carrots and Potatoes until slightly boney. 3. Add 1 cup of Flour to sausage mixture and stir in on medium heat. Begin to add milk in gradually keeping the combination as thick as you can while it cooks. Time is about 20 minutes. Add drained carrots and potatoes to the sausage soup and simmer for 20 minutes stirring occasionally. 4. Serve hot with hearty bread. |
