A sausage dip with just enough of a spice kick to keep them coming back for more! Serve with crackers and cocktail toasts. Ingredients:
1 pound ground spicy pork sausage |
5 green onions, chopped |
1 cup nonfat sour cream |
1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise |
1/4 cup grated fat-free parmesan cheese |
1 (2 ounce) jar chopped pimento peppers |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Place spicy pork sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. 3. Drain sausage and place in a large bowl. Mix in 4 green onions, nonfat sour cream, low-fat mayonnaise, fat-free Parmesan cheese and pimento peppers. Transfer sausage mixture to a medium baking dish. 4. Bake in the preheated oven 20 to 25 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned. Garnish with remaining green onion and serve hot. |
