I took this to class one day and it was such a hit that one friend came over the next day to take the recipe and make some more! They are so good...and they keep for hours...great for a party! Ingredients:
• 1 pound odom’s tennessee pride country sausage (mild) |
• 1 (15 oz.). can of corn |
• 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese |
• 1/2 cup salsa |
• 1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped) |
• 1/4 cup green bell pepper (finely chopped) |
• 1-2 cans crescent rolls |
Directions:
1. Cook sausage, onions, and peppers until well done. 2. Drain excess fat. 3. Combine corn and cream cheese in a microwave bowl and microwave for 1-11/2 minutes, until cream cheese has softened. 4. Combine salsa, sausage, peppers and onions into corn and cream cheese mixture and mix well. 5. Half crescent rolls and place one tablespoon of sausage mix onto each individual crescent roll. 6. Wrap and seal around meat mixture. 7. Place in oven at 375° F for 10-15 minutes or until crescent roll is cooked. 8. Serve with salsa of your choice. |
