Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter |
1 1/2 cups onion; chopped |
3 stalks celery; sliced thin |
3 large potatoes; cut into 1/2 cubes |
3 cups water |
3 cups milk |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat butter in a soup pot. 2. Saute' the onions and celery for 2 minutes, stirring occationally. 3. Add potato cubes, water, milk, salt and pepper. 4. Cover and bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. |
