Very freshing fruit salad that is not only pretty but is very tasty. Enjoy Ingredients:
20 ounce can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup (reserve juice) |
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream |
4 ounces cream cheese softened |
1-1/2 envelopes unflavored gelatin |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons granulated sugar |
sliced and halved cherries |
Directions:
1. Soak mold you are going to use in cold water and set aside. 2. Mix gelatin with 1/2 cup water and set aside. 3. Heat pineapple and cream cheese until dissolved. 4. Do not allow to boil. 5. Add gelatin and stir then cool. 6. Whip cram, sugar and vanilla. 7. When pineapple mixture is cool stir in remaining ingredients and pour into mold. 8. Refrigerate overnight. 9. Unmold and decorate with cherries. |
