From my collection of handwritten recipes 1964. Ingredients:
1 (3 ounce) package lemon gelatin |
1 cup boiling water |
1 (15 1/4 ounce) unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice) |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 banana, sliced |
1/3 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in reserved pineapple juice and sour cream; chill until thickened. Fold in pineapple chunks, banana and nuts. Pour into 4 dessert dishes and chill 2 hours or until firm. |
