Creamy Pesto Shrimp Or Crab |

Heavy cream + butter + Parmesan + pesto + shrimp = luxuriously yummy sauce! Try it with crab. Try it on different types of pasta. Eat it with a spoon straight out of the skillet! Ingredients:
1 lb linguine pasta (in picture i used spaghetti rigati) |
1/2 cup butter |
2 cups heavy cream |
1/2 tsp black pepper |
1 cup grated parmesan cheese |
7-8 oz pesto |
1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined (or crab, or both) |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta al dente. 2. In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. 3. Stir in cream. 4. Season with pepper. 5. Cook 6-8 minutes, stirring constantly. 6. Stir in Parmesan into cream sauce, stirring until mixed. 7. Blend in pesto. 8. Cook 3-5 minutes, until thickened. 9. Stir in shrimp, and cook until they turn pink. About 5 mins. 10. Serve over hot linguine. 11. Optional: add lemon juice or serve with lemon wedges. |
