This is a wonderful peppery dressing developed by chef Russel H. Ebert of Crossgates Inn in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was found in the RSVP section of a February 1981 issue of Bon Appetit. Ingredients:
2 cups mayonnaise |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup water |
2 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese |
1 tablespoon fresh ground pepper |
1 tablespoon cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice |
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion |
1 teaspoon garlic salt |
1 dash red pepper sauce |
1 dash worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. Whisk all ingredients until well combined. 2. Cover and chill thoroughly before serving. |
