Good way to use those Southern pecans. This is served hot, it's easy to make and oh so tasty. Ingredients:
1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened |
2 tbsp milk |
1 (1 1/2 oz) jar sliced dried beef, chopped up |
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper |
2 tbsp dehydrated onion flakes |
1/2 tsp garlic salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1/2 cup chopped pecans |
2 tbsp butter |
1/2 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Combine cream cheese, and milk, mixing until well blended. 2. Stir in dried beef, green pepper, onion flakes, & seasonings: and; mix well. 3. Fold in sour cream. 4. Spoon into an 8 inch pie plate. 5. Heat and crisp pecans in melted butter and salt; sprinkle over cream cheese mixture. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. 7. Serve hot with crackers. |
