Creamy Peach Filled French Toast |

these have a very nice flavor....... Ingredients:
4 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened |
8 3/4 oz can peaches |
4 t chopped pecans |
2 t honey |
10 slices french bread, cut diagonally |
Directions:
1. In small bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add peaches, pecans and honey; blend well. Cut pocket in top rounded edge of each bread slice. Carefully fill each with 1 1/2 tablespoons of cheese mixture. 2. Heat large skillet. In shallow bowl, slightly beat eggs. Add half and half and vanilla; mix well. Dip bread slices in egg mixture, coating both sides. Cook in skillet over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes. If desired, serve with butter and maple syrup. |
