Philly spreadable cream cheese makes a rich sauce in minutes. Use the ingredients you have on hand. This came from Kraft Food & Family. I have not tried this recipe, just posting for safe keeping. Ingredients:
1 lb meat (boneless & skinless chicken, sirloin steak, canned drained tuna or make it meatless) |
oil |
4 servings vegetables (1 handful per person, spinach, mushrooms & onions, green beans with tomatoes & black olives, or broc) |
8 ounces philadelphia spreadable cream cheese (regular & dash of nutmeg, herb & garlic, light & dashg of thyme, or garden vegetable) |
1 cup milk |
4 servings pasta, cooked (favorite) |
parmesan cheese (shredded mozzarella recommended) |
Directions:
1. Brown in skillet sliced meat of choice in a little oil. Add veggies of choice. 2. Add cream cheese with suggested add-ins with milk to skillet; cook until hot and bubbly. 3. Serve over pasta and top with a few handfuls of mozzarella. 4. Note: If using tuna add tuna after stirring in the Philly and milk, as it only needs a few minutes to warm up! |
