Creamy Marinara Tortellini |

Like a traditional Italian dinner. Great served with salad and garlic bread. Ingredients:
2 (9 ounce) packages refrigerated cheese tortellini |
2 cups marinara sauce |
1 cup heavy whipping cream |
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup cold water |
thyme, minced |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese |
1 tablespoon minced parsley |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |

Directions:
1. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine marinara sauce and cream. Gradually add flour and water until smooth. Bring to boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. 2. Add artichoke, thyme, and oil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncover for 3-4 minutes or until heated throughly. 3. Drain tortellini; toss with sauce. 4. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, parsley and pepper. |
