This is similar to a soup that I ate a Coney Island Restaurant just outside of Detroit. When I asked the server for the recipe, she just smiled and said Look in your cupboard . Now I know what she meant. I made the recipe in the microwave on 40% power instead of using the double boiler, but I will post it as found on the Internet. The directions are per Loretta the waitress at the Coney Island. Ingredients:
10 ounces cream of chicken soup, diluted with |
10 ounces water |
10 ounces chicken rice soup, diluted with |
10 ounces water |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in the top of double boiler over simmering water. 2. Stir to combine well. 3. Bring to serving temperature. |
