Creamy Lemon Fudge

This is a refreshing change from the chocolate fudge and if you love lemon desserts you will love this one for sure.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 - teaspoons plus 1/2 - cup butter divided
1 - package ( 4.3 ounce) cooking kind of lemon pudding / pie mix
1/2- cup milk
3 3/4 - cup powdered sugar
1- teaspoon lemon extract
Directions:
1. Line a 9x9 inch square pan with foil;............grease the foil with 1 1/2 teaspoons butter set aside...........
2. in a large heavy saucepan , combine the pudding mix , milk and remaining butter.....
3. cook and stir over over medium heat until thickened
4. remove from heat....
5. beat in the powdered sugar and lemon extract
6. pour into pan and refrigerate until set
7. using the foil, lift fudge out of pan discard the foil
8. cut into 1 inch squares
9. store in refrigerator
10. yields 1 1/2 pounds of candy............enjoy ...........
