CREAMY ITALIAN CHICKEN IN THE CROCK POT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Roark Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1984. Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves |
1 envelope italian salad dressing mix |
1/4 cup water |
8 ounce package cream cheese softened |
1 can cream of chicken soup undiluted |
4 ounce can mushroom stems and pieces drained |
hot cooked noodles |
Directions:
1. Place chicken in a slow cooker. 2. Combine salad dressing mix and water then pour over chicken. 3. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. 4. In a small mixing bowl beat cream cheese and soup until blended then stir in mushrooms. 5. Pour over chicken then cook 1 hour longer then serve over noodles. |
