More comfort food from mom Ingredients:
1 (32 ounce) package frozen southern -style hash browns, thawed |
1 lb velveeta cheese, cubed |
1 (16 ounce) can cream of chicken soup |
2 cups sour cream |
1/2 cup melted margarine |
3 tablespoons chopped onions |
8 ounces french fried onion rings |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. 2. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. 3. Bake uncovered at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes. 4. Add the onion rings during the last five minutes or so. 5. Note: Adjust the sour cream/margarine as you wish. Sometimes I add plain yogurt for part of it. |
