Different spin on how to make corn Ingredients:
8 slices bcon chopped |
4 cups fresh sweet corn kernels |
1 medium size white onion chopped |
1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper |
1/3 cup chopped green pepper |
1/2 cup half and half |
1 tsp. sugar |
1 tsp. salt |
1 tsp. pepper |
Directions:
1. cook chopped bacon in large skillet untill crisp remove bacon and drain on paper towels reserving 2 TBs. drippings in skillet set bacon aside. 2. SAUTE:corn onion pppers in hot drippings over medium high heat 6 minutes till tender 3. ADD: Cream cheese and half nad half stirring untill cream cheese melts. Stir in Sugar Salt, Pepper. Top with Bacon 4. Prep-15 minutes-Cook 22 minutes |
