From Like Grandma Used To Make by Reader's Digest, c. 1996. Ingredients:
1/3 cup vinegar (i use red wine) |
1/4 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons minced yellow onions |
1/2 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil |
Directions:
1. In a food processor or blender, process all ingredients except the olive oil until smooth. With food processor or blender running, add olive oil in thin, steady stream and process for 2 to 3 minutes or until mixture thickens. 2. Cover and refrigerate (will keep for 1 week). |
