I love the flavor of the sweetness found in the center of these wonderful brownies. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1/2 cup(1 stick) butter |
1/2 cup hersheys cocoa |
2 eggs |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup flour |
1/4 tsp baking powder |
1/4 tsp salt |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 cup finely chopped nuts |
creamy filling |
beat 1 package (3ounces) softened cream cheese,2 tbsp. butter,softened and 1 tsp vanilla extract in a small bowl. add 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar,slowly and beat. |

heat 1/4 cup sugar and 2 tbsp water to boil in small saucepan. |
remove from heat. |
immediately add 1/2 cup chocolate minichips semi sweet chocolate , stirring until melted. |
1/2 cup sliced almonds or chopped walnuts(optional) |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350*. 2. Line 15 1/2x101/2x1 inch jelly-roll pan with foil;grease foil. 3. Melt butter in saucepan;remove from heat. 4. Stir in cocoa until smooth. 5. Beat eggs in medium bowl; add sugar,beating until fluffy. 6. Stir together flour,bakingpowder and salt;add to egg mixture 7. Add cocoa mixture and vanilla;beat well. 8. stir in nuts 9. Bake 12 to 14 minutes. 10. Cool in pan;remove from pan to cutting board 11. Remove foil;cut brownie in half crosswise. 12. Spread one half with Creamy Filling;top with second half. 13. Spread MiniChip Glaze over top, sprinkle with almonds, if desired. 14. Let glaze set and then cut into bars. |
