Creamy Fettuccini with Asparagus and Lima Beans

Lima beans are an excellent source of protein, potassium, and iron.
Ingredients:
8 ounces pasta, fettuccini
2 tbsp butter
2 cups asparagus
1 cup lima beans
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1 cup fat free half and half
1 cup grated parmesan
Directions:
1. Cook fettuccini according to package, drain and cover to keep warm.
2. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus, lima beans, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Cook and stir for 3 minutes. Add broth and simmer another 3 minutes. Add cream, and simmer 3 minutes until vegetables are tender.
3. Add vegetable mixture and cheese to fettuccini, toss to combine. Serve immediately.
